We’re Back!!!

It’s time to celebrate and we invite you to join us!

Friday, May 13 at 8 PM Placer High School Auditorium


After two difficult years we are once again rehearsing and planning a free celebration concert May 13 at Placer High School at 8:00 PM. We would love for you to join us! Covid requirements will be announced later, but for your peace of mind we’d like you to know that the band members are vaccinated and boosted.

During our two-year forced absence, we tried to bridge the gap and stay together at a distance by producing our At Home Concert series. Individual musicians were given the music and a video of Bob Halseth silently conducting each piece. We then recorded our individual parts without the advantage of hearing and blending with the fine musicians around us. And we had to do it without getting constant feedback and encouragement from Bob’s inspirational conducting. It was a challenge! Our bass trombonist, Mike Isom, then spent days piecing the individual recordings together, resulting in music we are proud of. Thank you Mike!
